 Diagnostic and Therapeutic ServicesOur hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for all your pets' health needs. Medical knowledge and technology provide many tools to evaluate and restore health to our patients. We strive to stay current in training and equipment to be able to provide the high level of care our patients deserve.
Surgical ServicesOur surgical suite provides for the performance of a wide variety of surgical procedures including neutering, tumor removals, simple fracture repair, and wounds. A surgical laser is used to decrease pain and inflammation for our patients while minimizing bleeding during surgery. Pain control for post operative comfort is a priority and a host of medications are available to keep pain to a minimum.
AnesthesiaWe utilize a variety of available anesthetics to provide that extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high risk patients. Using modern equipment, the patients vital signs are monitored during anesthetic procedures. Intravenous fluids are provided to help support circulation and provide access for critical medications.
Imaging ServicesOur on-site X-ray machine provides high quality radiographs to aid in the diagnosis of many disorders. Diagnostic ultrasound adds another dimension of imaging to examine abdominal organs and the heart. Special techniques, such as contrast radiography, can be applied to selected cases to aid in diagnosis. Electrocardiography ServicesWe provide ECG serrices on-site as well as consultations with cardiology specialists. ECG analysis can allow for the detection of abnormal heart rhythms and their treatment. Laboratory Services
Our in-house laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis, and parasite testing. We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations. New laboratory tests become available to allow more accurate and rapid diagnosis of complex medical problems. Current knowledge of available tests is a priority. Pharmacy ServicesWe maintain a wide variety of pharmaceuticals to provide therapy for many conditions. Outside prescriptions are used to provide access to less common medications and provide a wider range of choices for parasite control.
Dentistry ServicesPeriodontal and dental disease is one of the most common health problems in pets today. In addition to bad breath, periodontal disease causes pain and can lead to damage of vital organs. Our dental services include teeth cleaning and polishing, tooth extractions and oral surgery. Dietary CounselingWe provide guidance regarding your pet's nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance and performance. Additionally, therapeutic diets are available to aid in the management of many chronic conditions. Bathing and Grooming ServicesRoutine and therapeutic bathing services are available. Our professional groomer will keep your pets looking their best. Boarding ServicesWe provide pet boarding as a service to our clients. All boarder receive personal attention from our caring staff. Pets may be dropped off and picked up only during regular business hours. |
